Extens supports Sanilea in the nationwide implementation of its platform

Sanilea, a forerunner in the organisation of medical transport, has just announced a €2.5 million fundraising from Extens, an investment fund exclusively dedicated to e-health, and Aquiti Gestion, a EIG from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.

This fundraising will allow Sanilea to accelerate the nationwide implementation of SpeedCall, its innovative platform for the automated processing of medical transport requests.

Supporting Sanilea in the nationwide implementation of its platform was an evident decision because it contributes towards the digitalisation of a niche market with strong growth potential. The growing dependent population and the rising number of long-term illnesses will increase demand for patient transport vehicles. SpeedCall responds to an essential coordination issue between healthcare facilities and professional transport services by automising and digitalising reservation management, which process is too time-consuming. Furthermore, the French medical transportation landscape has changed substantially following the reform of Article 80 of the Social Security Financing Act. We quickly realised the advantages of Sanilea's offer and are convinced that the company can become a key player in its market.
