Grace Bonazebi joined Extens in December 2022 after working in the hotel industry.

She ensures the smooth running of the office and assists the administrative and financial management. 

Grace holds a Certificate of Professional Qualification in Reception and Administration.

Charles Bourgain has seven years of experience in Private Equity. He started his career at Turenne Groupe before joining Essling Capital.

Very active in the Private Equity ecosystem, Charles is a Member of France Invest Under 35 Board and a Member of France Invest Avenir.

He is involved in deal execution and in the monitoring of portfolio companies.

Charles is a graduate of the Advanced Master in Financial Techniques from ESSEC Business School and holds an engineering degree from ENSEEIHT.

Vincent Céré has one year of experience in PE.

He helps the investment team analyse new opportunities and manage the investment process.

Vincent holds a master's degree in corporate finance from Toulouse School of Management (ex IAE Toulouse).

Morgane Decultieux has five years of cumulative experience in PE, Business Development and Consultancy.

She helps the investment team analyse new opportunities and brings her operational experience to the monitoring of the portfolio companies.

Morgane holds a PharmaD from Claude Bernard University (Lyon) and is also a graduate of EM Lyon Business School.

Valentine Deramecourt has experience in two different areas, having spent ten years as an investor and five years as an administrative and financial director. She started her career at the investment firm Sycomore Corporate / Covent Partners, where she worked for six years. She then became CFO France at Altavia, a mid-sized communications company with international operations.

Valentine plays a pivotal role in the execution of transactions, and a strategic and operational role with our portfolio companies.

Valentine is a graduate of Paris Dauphine University and holds a master's degree in financial engineering from EM Lyon Business School.

Alban Douady has two years of experience in PE.

He helps the investment team analyse new opportunities and manage the investment process.

Alban is a graduate of Mines ParisTech and holds a master’s degree in Corporate Finance from Paris Dauphine (Master 225).

Arnaud Houette was president of CapsuleTech (data-collection software for hospitals) from 2004 to 2012. During that time, revenue grew from €1 million to €40 million in the United States, where the company became the market leader thanks to its strategic partnerships with major players such as Philips, GE and Siemens.

Arnaud coordinates the e-health market view and focuses on the investment and exit strategies.

After earning an engineering degree from AgroParisTech, Arnaud spent 12 years with Air Liquide, particularly in South East Asia, before taking the reins at CapsuleTech.

Quentin Jacomet has over 15 years’ experience in growth capital with IDF Capital, Avenir Entreprises (now BPI France Investissement) and Turenne Capital. He has taken part in around 40 investments, particularly in healthcare, software and databases – particularly Capsule Tech – working actively alongside the managers of those companies.

Quentin coordinates Extens’ investment strategy.

After graduating from EM Lyon Business School, Quentin went on to earn a master’s degree in company law from Paris II University (Assas).

Aymeline Lecomte worked in audit at Ernst & Young for four years. She then joined the financial management department within Société Générale Group’s consolidation division.

Aymeline is in charge of Extens’ back-office and administrative and financial management.

Aymeline is a graduate of HEC Paris Business School.

Federico Miotto has four years of cumulative experience in M&A and PE.

He helps the investment team analyse new opportunities and manage the investment process.

Federico is a graduate of ESSEC Business School and the University of Trento in Italy.

Thomas Ploquin has more than 15 years of experience in investment firms in both public and private markets. He began his career at Thomson Reuters, a software publisher and provider of financial market data, before joining Richelieu Finance, SCOR Investment Partners and Essling Capital, where he worked on fundraising and marketing for an international clientele of private and institutional managers.

He manages investor relations, marketing, and communication.

Thomas holds a Master's degree in International Finance from ESDES Lyon Business School.

A long-time friend and partner at Extens, Dominique Mercier passed away on February 12 2023 after a year-long battle against illness.

Dominique Mercier had in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry, medical devices, and hospital IT systems. He held managerial positions in the healthcare industry at W.L. Gore, Zimmer, Medtronic, Smith Medical, and Maquet. He also spent 12 years at Dräger Group, where he was president for France and Southern Europe. In 2013, he participated in a LBO to acquire Bow Medical, the French leader in software for anaesthesiologists and intensive-care units, in order to help the company expand in France and internationally.

His history with Extens goes back before its inception, in 2008 when Quentin Jacomet, Arnaud Houette, and Dominique Mercier joined forces at Capsule Technologies (a leading global provider of medical device integration, clinical surveillance, and patient monitoring for hospitals) as Investor, CEO, and Board Member, respectively.

Alexis Vandier has over 20 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, Business Development and Strategy coupled with a deep understanding of the market trends. 

Jakub Crhonek is a longstanding Private Equity professional with expertise in Turnarounds and extensive network in the European software market, particularly in Switzerland and Germany. 

Philippe Gervais has a strong operational expertise in Homecare, Medical Assistance and Insurance industries, with prior international experiences in Private Equity, Strategy and Corporate M&A.
