Creation of Extens, the first French investment fund exclusively dedicated to e-health

Extens is a new investment fund exclusively dedicated to e-health in Western Europe. E-health is considered as one of the most promising investment sectors in the coming years.

The fund will invest in companies that generate over €1 million in revenue and that are profitable or close to being profitable. Hospital information systems, computerisation of the health professionals and applications for the connected patients, whether they are at home or in the hospital, are at the centre of the fund’s strategy.

Extens brings together a team of professionals combining entrepreneurial success in healthcare software and performance in capital development: Arnaud Houette, former President of CapsuleTech, a French data-collection software for hospitals that became leader in its market in the US, and Quentin Jacomet, from Turenne Capital, who worked together on the success of CapsuleTech until its sale to an American private equity fund in 2012.
