Extens has acquired a stake in Opta LP, a company specialising in optimisation and decision support software solutions for healthcare facilities.
Founded in 2013 (Université de Technologie de Troyes), Opta LP established itself on the market thanks to algorithms initially intended for industrial applications. Following the 2020 health crisis, the company has diversified and refocused its activity on the health sector, and now assists health facilities with issues such stock optimisation, care scheduling or emergency forecasting.
The company opens its capital for the first time by welcoming Extens. Extens' ultra-specialisation in the healthcare sector will be an invaluable asset for accelerating its development, especially in the structuring of the healthcare segment offer.
